Doug McCullough

Managing Member, McCullough Sudan (Moderator)

Doug McCullough is a corporate attorney who has over 15 years of experience representing clients in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and taxation. He is a founding partner of the corporate transactions law firm McCullough Sudan.

Mr. McCullough also sits on the advisory boards of Lasco Enterprises and Global Energy Safety Institute and co-founded the organization Texas Young Professionals, which has over 58,000 members across the state.

Bryan C. Frederickson

Managing Director, GulfStar Group

Bryan has 18 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience that includes execution of merger and acquisition, private placement, recapitalization and restructuring transactions.

Bryan joined GulfStar in 2005 from Navigant Capital Advisors, LLC, the broker-dealer unit of national consulting and financial advisory firm Navigant Consulting, Inc. At Navigant, he was involved in the firm’s investment banking activities and responsible for principal investing by Sextant Corporate Finance, Navigant’s $500 million debt opportunities fund.

Prior to that, Mr. Frederickson served in Wachovia Securities’ media and communications corporate finance, merchant banking and loan syndications groups. He started his career with KPMG LLP’s Corporate Transactions Group.  

He is active in the Houston chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association, and is president of the board of directors of Crisis Intervention of Houston.

Mr. Frederickson holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Vanderbilt University.

Jeffrey Morales

Managing Director, Newstone Capital Partners

Mr. Morales is responsible for originating, structuring and managing investments at Newstone. Prior to joining Newstone, Mr. Morales was a vice president at Goldman Sachs in the Specialty Lending Group, where he was responsible for screening, structuring and managing the firm’s senior debt, mezzanine and equity investments in leveraged transactions. 

Prior thereto, Mr. Morales worked as an associate with TCW/Crexent Mezzanine, LLC. Previously, Mr. Morales worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank, where he focused on sponsor-related leveraged finance transactions. 

Mr. Morales received his Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas.  

Adrian Guerra Cardus

Vice President, CapStreet Group

Mr. Guerra joined CapStreet in 2006. Prior to joining CapStreet, he was an Analyst with JP Morgan Chase’s Houston-based Energy Group. 

Mr. Guerra works with and sits on the board of several CapStreet portfolio companies.

Mr. Guerra obtained his Bachelor of Economics from Rice University.   

Curtis L. Hartman

Chief Credit Officer and Senior Managing Director, Main Street Capital
 

Curtis L. Hartman has served as our Chief Credit Officer and a Senior Managing Director since 2011. Mr. Hartman is also the chairman of our credit committee and a member of our investment committee. Previously, Mr. Hartman served as one of our Senior Vice Presidents since 2007.

From 2000, Mr. Hartman has served as a Senior Managing Director and in other executive positions of several Main Street predecessor funds and entities, which are now subsidiaries of ours, including the general partner of Main Street Mezzanine Fund, LP, Main Street Mezzanine Management, LLC, the general partner of Main Street Capital II, LP, Main Street Capital II GP, LLC, and Main Street Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Hartman has also served as a director of HMS Income Fund, Inc., a non publicly traded business development company of which MSC Adviser I, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Main Street, acts as the investment sub adviser, since June 2013.

From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Hartman was an investment adviser for Sterling City Capital, LLC. Concurrently with joining Sterling City Capital, he joined United Glass Corporation, a Sterling City Capital portfolio company, as director of corporate development. Prior to joining Sterling City Capital, Mr. Hartman was a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, in its M&A/Transaction Services group. Prior to that, he was employed as a senior auditor by Deloitte & Touche LLP.
